MBT Physiological Footwear Reviews.

For someone who still don’t know MBT shoes, this shoes is the hottest shoes in USA now because its curvy style and benefits which make this shoes one more step ahead of every fitness shoes. In the doctor’s study, the physiological effect of MBT footwear include improved your gait and posture, relieves joint pressure in the back, and making some muscle(which you rarely use) work and this mean MBT footwear make you burn more calories and stimulates metabolism. Finally, MBT footwear has a effect on abdominal, legs and buttock muscles.

And this is some words from the customer who use MBT Footwear.

Lorry Hart (Texas) “I was introduced to MBT footwear at a Health fair. two years later, I finally find them for a reasonable price. I'm happy I bought them. I was worried that they would look like "presception shoes" and I was worried about people laughing at me, but who cares. these shoes are comfortable and I walk alot. I feels like I'm walking on a rubber ball. My legs and feet feel revived. I even wear them in the house!”

Lindsey Wills (Nurse at New York Hospital) “I work in a hospital and am constantly standing on unforgiving concrete, sometimes for 10 hours or more. Regular tennis shoes always left my feet sore at the end of the day. Since I've been wearing these MBT footwear my feet haven't hurt since. They are also very forgiving on my knees, which I have had surgery on one and my back. Great for the professional on their feet all day. They may look funny and take about a day or so to get used to (they make you rock up on your toes), but you will not be sorry you switched to this great physiological footwear”

I have MBT shoes too. And it is great, before I use this MBT shoes I’m about 200 pounds and hate walking or do something about fitness. But right now I’m only 160 pounds and walking all the time. All I can tell is “This MBT footwear change my life”. But there isn’t a perfect things in this world. From my experience I will give you the bad things about this shoes you should know

- Order half size bigger, this will make your toe feel more comfort

- Hold onto hand-rails when going down steps. If not, you will lose your balance on the stairs. Going up stairs isn't a problem

- Don’t be rush to use it. Just give it a day or two to make your body get use to it

- It’s expensive but I guarantee you that every penny you paid will give you the best interest physiological benefit. (but now you can buy it just $99 at amazon.com so it shouldn’t be considered as “expensive” anymore)

MBT Men's Sport Walking Shoe

Footwear with a unique sole construction that mimics the feeling of walking barefoot on sand, activating muscles throughout the body and relieving stress on joints.
Customer Review: Well Built, Health Benefits May be Exaggerated
I bought a pair of this style of MBT 26 months ago from a local retailer, and I can't say I've noticed any 'health' benefits. However, I have worn the shoes every day (and I do a LOT of walking), and the shoes have held up well. But! They are starting to get a little worn out now, and I am consider refurbishing my pair, which costs ~$80, apparently. In my experience with the shoes, their most impressive quality is how well put together they are. When I bought Nike sneakers I would have to buy a new pair every 8-12 months because they'd literally start to fall apart. A little over two years with my MBTs and they are only worn smooth in a few places -- no holes or anything like that. Like I said, I can't speak to any 'added health benefit' they give. I do a lot of walking and exercise and am young and in good shape, but I attribute that to the exercise, not the shoes. The shoes are comfortable, but I wouldn't really say they're _that_ much more comfortable than a nice pair of (normal priced) sneakers. The caveat for me is that a nice pair of normal priced sneakers need replacing more than twice as often as an MBT pair. Oh, if you are a fidgety person you'll probably really like the shoes -- you pretty much have to constantly rock back and forth while standing still with them. That'd probably be annoying as heck to some people, but I'm an ADD antsy fidgety type, so I love it :P More details: - These shoes are heavy. I used to buy Nike Air shoes because they were super light (lightest shoes I've ever seen) and I liked that. Going to these heavy shoes was a change for me, but I still find them comfortable -- just different. - These shoes are platform shoes. You're going to be 1" to 1.5" taller with them. Have fun with that! - The first few times you wear these shoes, you will feel like you just stepped off a rocking boat. At least, I did. Totally disorienting. Unfortunately, I got completely used to after about two days. It was a cool feeling while it lasted! - The shoes feel a lot better and are more comfortable if you lace them _tight_ and make sure your heel is seated all the way back in the shoes. Get the right size and make sure it fits well or it's not going to be very comfortable. I've had a hard time finding actual reviews or commentary on MBT shoes that don't just sound like an advertisement. I hope my review here helps rectify that =)
Customer Review: Back pain? GONE!
I've been wearing these shoes for 2 1/2 years. I bought them because I hoped it would help me with my daily back pain (I was taking antiinflamatories on a daily basis). Let me also tell you that I'm active. I'm used to aerobic exercise, and I'm fit. Running is my passion and I didn't want to give it up. It was like this, I would wake up pain free, would run on the treadmil and stretch, run some errands and there she was the back pain. Then she'll visit with me till the end of the day. Of course it kept getting worse, till the point I would get out of bed pain free and after walking around the house a little bit there she was the back pain waiting on me to keep me company for the rest of the day. I was researching on the internet when I bumped into these shoes. Actually I was looking for some Birkenstocks when I found MBTs. I was so desperate to come up with a solution for my back pain that I made my husband drive me to Texas, about 70 miles far from where I live, to Frisco so that I could get them that very same day. I didn't want having to wait for the MTBs being shipped and stuff. They advise you to get started little by little and there is a DVD and a pamphlet that cames along with instructions. Anyway, I put MBTs on and got out of the store, did grocery shopping and the relief was so big I wore the shoes for the rest of the day. Next day I put them on when I woke up (literally) and ever since I've wore it for 2 years straight. Sandals in the summer and sneakers in the winter. I like the sandals best. No more pain, no more pills. Although I am fit, my legs got a little bit tired during the first week or so because you start using muscles that might have never been requested before. In the past 6 months I haven't been wearing them as often, I just walk on them when I exercise on the treadmil (running on them is pretty tough, it's like running on very soft sand) and I also make sure I have them on when cleanning the house and traveling. These sandals are just perfect for traveling. I'm brazilian married to an american, so I visit my country often and a 10 hour flight can get your feet pretty swollen. Studies show that you still maintain your good posture for 2 or 3 days when not wearing the MBTs. Bottom line, they took my back pain away for good. I was told they might loose their cushioning after a year but no. Good quality shoes, I'm still wearing the first pair of sandals and sneakers I bought. As far as muscular improvement I havent' noticed much since I was already fit when I started wearing them. I've seen websites that would advertise the fact that these shoes improve your celulite and things like that. MBT Company is very serious and doesn't mention anything like that. I know that some fancy spas do sell them. MBTs are bulky and heavier than normal shoes but nevertheless very comfortable. When you find something that takes your pain away like I found relief in these pair of shoes, you stick with it.

Customer Review: Best Shoe Ever!
I suffer from herniated and bulging discs and core strength and posyure are important to me. I purchased the highest shoe because I am pretty advanced in strength training and cardio, as I work out 5-6 times a week. These shoes are great for my posture and it's like a mini work out every time I wear them. They help me stand taller and remind me to work my core muscles. They do a great job on my legs. I find them very comfortable and love to wear them. I can wear them for hours due to the fact that I am already strong. I will be purchasing more. I'd recommend the lower ones for beginners and the higher ones for gym-rats and runners.
Customer Review: MBT Shoes...simply the bomb!
I have both rheumatoid arthritis and osteo arthritis (the regular kind that most people over a certain age often get). I received these shoes as a gift and had to put them away for a while before trying them due to a badly fractured ankle. The ankle has never healed properly, and I twist it or in some way re-injure it fairly often. I finally felt it was time to take out my MBT shoes and start wearing them. I can't even explain the difference I feel in my joints, my posture, and my "holding myself upright" muscles. I'm using muscles I haven't used in years, and even better, NO PAIN when I walk! The injured ankle is stable and very content in my MBTs. These shoes are worth every penny and more!!

MBT Men's Lofa Slip On

MBT, Masai Barefoot Technology, is not just a shoe in the ordinary sense. It is a revolutionary fitness aid from Swiss Masai. This product will not only change the way you use your muscles, but will improve the use of your joints and spine. The uniquely designed sole, combined with correct training, achieves a more active and healthy posture and walk.
Customer Review: Still getting used to them
I have a job where I stand and walk alot. I bought these shoes to make me more comfortable while doing this job. After a month, I find these shoes comfortable and handsome enough. They do not help with foot and back fatigue. I don't have back pain, so I can't comment if they help with that. They probably do burn more calories, because I notice my legs are tired at the end of a day. They are more useful with walking than with standing. In summary, they have not been a "magic bullet" for standing fatigue.

Customer Review: Interesting shoe!
I have read a lot about MBT shoes before buying this Sandal. I went for the sandal rather than the shoes cause it fits our hot weather better. The sandal is comfortable to wear. Not sure though if it does all what MBT claims but I hope so. I am most probably going to buy an MBT walking show soon.

Customer Review: MBT Sport Walker Athletic Shoe
For the price I paid for these I expected them to last for years. NOT! The soles (outer side of toe area) wore down to nothing after about the second season of wearing them outside. They also do not fit correctly in the heel area and will give you hugh blisters on your heels. But for the price I paid I was determined to wear them so once the blisters healed I remended the problem. I placed carpet padding inside my socks back in the heel area until eventually the heel stretched out and fit correctly. I continued to wear them outside until now the 3rd season (wear outside maybe 4 months of the year) they need replaced. I cannot say I see any difference in leg tone or cellulite, and I have never had back pain so I cannot vouce for the claims that others make on that topic. I will say that I like the shoes, but not well enough to pay the hugh price for them again, mostly because they have worn out on the bottom. My gosh I have asics and nike's I have worn longer outside and they are not all worn away like these shoes are! With that being said, 3 years after purchasing the first pair I have found a used pair that have obviously been used very little and I purchased them. Only because the price was right! I have found out that the "blisters on the heel" thing was not just a fluke with the first pair, as the second ones have done the same thing. The shoes are heavy, so they make me feel like I am getting a little something extra with each workout (I powerwalk), but i have resigned to using the new pair only on the treadmill so maybe the bottom outter toe area will not wear so quickly. Also, the shoes do help you to stand more upright. All in all, not worth the high cost but at a hugh discount...YEA! Marsha, Hoagland IndianaMBT White Sport Walkers
Customer Review: They fall apart
I bought my MBT's 7 months ago and the bottom rubber around the toe is lifting. I contacted MBT and they informed me that since they are over 6 months old (exactly by 3 weeks) I needed to contact Resole America who can possibly repair the shoes. Mind you, I paid $244 dollars for these walking shoes. Resole America ask that I send a picture which I gladly did. Well, I was told these "walking shoes" should not be worn in water or dirt and that my shoes could not be repaired by them. Come on, you spend $244 on a pair of "walking shoes" only to find out when you have a problem that there is an underlying stipulation that you basically can't wear these shoes outdoors? I'm disappointed that I'm having trouble with MBT to stand behind these very expensive tennis/walking shoes. Buyer, beware!
